Replacement Tail Dolly Caster
This swivel caster is a good replacement for the original tail dolly caster used on old Schempp-Hirth tail dollys, such as
those found on Standard Cirrus gliders. After a few decades of service, the original caster may no longer swivel smoothly
or may lock up because the ball bearings wander out of the guide channel.
This caster weighs 0.47 pounds (9%) less than the original and has a maintenance free,
solid thermoplastic rubber tread.
The housing is made of pressed steel with a zinc-chromatised finish.
It has a double ball-bearing swivel head with a plastic dustguard.
The wheel hub is made of Polypropylene plastic.
